For this reason, full porcelain crowns are preferred especially full porcelain crowns are preferred

Metal-backed porcelains are mechanically bonded to the tooth. Full porcelains are mechanically and chemically attached to the tooth. Therefore, their retention is much higher
than metal-supported ones.

Since there is no metal in the substructure of full porcelain crowns, there is no dark line at the crown – gum line. A more aesthetic appearance is provided.

When the gums recede, full porcelains maintain their aesthetic appearance, while metal porcelains create a bad appearance in the area where they merge with the tooth.

The risk of allergy to some metals (nickel, etc.) used in the substructure is risk of allergy

Zirconium Based Bridges without Metal Support

In this system, zirconium, a white alloy, is used as the substructure instead of metal. This state-of-the-art infrastructure is the only material capable of combining aesthetics and durability. The main advantage of the system is that it is also reliable on bridges in the rear area thanks to the high durability it achieves.

Zirconium substructured veneers do not cause gum problems and allergies, as well as allowing us to achieve the closest aesthetics and function to natural teeth with its light transmission feature.

In which cases can Zirconium Teeth be applied?

In teeth with excessive loss of material (e.g. very large fillings)

In the construction of bridge restorations in tooth deficiencies

Aesthetic restorations in the anterior region

In patients with metal allergy

On-implant restorations

How are crown and bridge restorations performed?

In such restorations, we need to make a certain amount of reductions in the teeth that will support. The amount of this reduction is determined by the material of the treatment we plan to perform. Crowns without metal support require less preparation (cutting) than crowns with metal support.

After the preparation, the patient is fitted with temporary coverings that allow him/her to continue his/her normal life.

Restoration is prepared in the laboratory environment on the measurements taken and rehearsals are made. During rehearsals, teeth are analyzed such as shape, size, color and gum compatibility and necessary checks are provided. The checked restorations are polished in special ovens and bonded to the tooth with special cements. The average duration of treatment is 5-7 days.

Dental Crowns and Bridges In cases where implants are not suitable or preferred for dental cavities that occur after tooth loss, dental bridges; In cases where there is excessive damage to the teeth, dental crowns are a suitable option to correct the smile and replace the lost function.
