In this way, the patient can use the implant <strong>as easily as if it were their own tooth <\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Implants are arguably the material <strong>that best mimics the natural tooth<\/strong> in tooth deficiencies. Implants can be preferred in the case of a single missing tooth, several missing teeth or the loss of all teeth (total edentulism). <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To whom and under which conditions can implants be applied?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to be implanted, the <strong>jawbone<\/strong> in the area where the implant is planned to be applied must have the <strong>height<\/strong> and <strong>width<\/strong> to surround the implant. If there is not enough bone, preliminary operations can be performed to prepare the relevant area. The quality of the existing bone is another factor affecting the success of the implant. Complete bone development is sufficient for the application. <strong>There is no upper age limit<\/strong>. Anyone in good general health can be implanted. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How long does implant treatment take?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the operation, the implant and the jawbone take approximately <strong>2 to 6 months<\/strong> to fuse. <strong>A temporary prosthesis<\/strong> can be used during this period. Therefore, <strong>paying attention to the oral care of<\/strong> the person to be implanted plays an important role in the success of the implant. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Advantages of implant treatment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the bone areas with extracted teeth, there is a loss of substance over time and <strong>the bones become thinner and thinner.<\/strong> This results in some changes in the facial profile.
