Halitosis is a bad breath odor<\/strong> from the mouth or stomach that bothers both the person and those around them. Bad breath negatively affects the social life of the person and creates self-confidence problems.<\/p>\n\n

Bad breath odor is largely caused by bad breath. An oral infection, advanced gum disease<\/strong> or bacteria<\/strong> that settle on food residues that have been in the mouth for more than a few hours can cause odor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Other systemic problems that cause odor are: sinusitis, diabetes (acetone odor), stomach and intestinal diseases, kidney failure (fishy odor), liver and metabolic disorders. <\/p>\n\n

The cause of bad breath should first be diagnosed and treated accordingly. Halitosis can be prevented by increasing the level of oral hygiene<\/strong> through treatment of decayed teeth and gum diseases, extraction of teeth that need to be extracted and replacement of restorations that need to be renewed .<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
