Temporamandibular Joint (TMJ) Treatment
TMJ diseases are disorders of joint function as a result of intra-articular or extra-articular pathologies. As a result of clinical and radiographic examinations, protective plate (splint) treatment is applied to our patients diagnosed with TMJ disorder. These mouth protection trays, which are customized for each patient, are used to relieve the symptoms of bruxism and joint diseases during the specified treatment period.

What is Bite-Guard?
Bruxism is the habit of involuntary teeth grinding and jaw muscle clenching during sleep . This causes problems such as abrasion of the teeth, fracture of fillings, pain in the facial muscles and joints, noise during opening and closing in the joint, headache, shaking, spacing and sensitivity in the teeth.
A hard plate with an average thickness of 1-1.5 mm called Bite-Guard is used during sleep.
